Successfully developed 100% polyethylene ropes independently and successfully

 

Recently, Taian Trust-K Cordage Manufacture Industrial Co., Ltd. successfully used the traditional wire

drawing machine to make 100% pure polyethylene yarn. This is not only a small step in our company's

rope manufacturing, but also a manifestation of our workers' perseverance and fearlessness in the

PE ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is the fiber with the highest specific strength and

specific modulus in the world, and is internationally recognized as one of the three high-performance

fibers. It has excellent properties such as ultra-high strength, ultra-high modulus, low density, wear

resistance, low temperature resistance, UV resistance, shielding resistance, good flexibility, high impact

energy absorption, and resistance to strong acids, alkalis, chemical corrosion, etc. It is widely used in

military equipment, marine industry, safety protection, sports equipment and other fields. The production

process is to use the gel extrusion super drawing method to produce ultra-high molecular weight

polyethylene fiber with paraffin as the solvent. Through super hot drawing, high strength and high

modulus fiber yarn is produced. After special twisting, compounding and weaving, production rope is

produced. Therefore, the emergence of 100% PE is a major step forward for our company to become

a world-class rope industry base.

During the research and development process, the R&D and production personnel need to ensure both

material strength and product appearance. Starting from the details, the R&D personnel have developed

reasonable proportioning plans, fully discussed and communicated with on-site technical personnel,

and determined a detailed trial production plan.

Through the joint efforts of R&D and production personnel, a rope with a PE content of 100% was
